The Leader of the Pack

Hello! My name is Hannah Chase. I am the lead yard team member here at Second Home Boarding & Daycare. While I love humans, I have dedicated my entire life to helping animals. I have held various positions in the last decade including veterinary assistant at Briar Patch Veterinary Hospital, and worked in veterinary medicine at the Tompkins County SPCA and Veterinary Care of Ithaca.

With the experience backing me, I decided it was time to start another adventure, and decided the community I grew up in - Tompkins County - was where I wanted to lay the ground work for a dog daycare and overnight boarding facility.

In December 2020, I opened Second Home Boarding & Daycare in Freeville, NY, with the promise to provide a safe and comfortable environment - a Second Home - for your dogs. I can provide dog lovers full access to all their needs in an easily accessible central location close to Ithaca, Dryden and Cortland.

When I'm not loving on all your little pups at Second Home, I enjoy spending time with my furbabies, Zeena and Griffon. (pictured below).
